ADHD & Meditation

The Conversations: A Deep Dive
Waking Up ConversationsEach week we take one conversation from the Waking Up app and go deep. Not surface-level. We read the context, listen together, and then really talk about what it means and how it lands in actual practice. Led by someone who has spent three years thinking about how people engage with this content.
Making Practice Stick
Habit Formation & PracticeMost people know meditation works. Most people still do not meditate. This group is about closing that gap. We combine the science of habit formation with the direct experience of practice, and we hold each other accountable in a way that actually works.
Finding What Matters
Meaning & ValuesA slower, more spacious group for exploring what contemplative practice reveals about meaning, values, and how to live. We draw on Waking Up content alongside philosophical and literary sources to sit with the questions that matter most.
Practicing with the App
Waking Up App Deep DivesEach week we pick something in the Waking Up app that most people scroll past and actually spend time with it. A conversation no one talks about, a practice tucked away in a series, a feature that changes everything once you know it is there. This is not a product feedback group. It is a practice group run by someone who happens to know where all the doors are.
Sitting with Difficulty
Practice During Hard TimesA group for practicing when life is not going well. Not the version of meditation where everything is calm and your mind is clear. The version where you are exhausted or anxious or grieving and you sit down anyway. We use the app's content on difficult emotions, pain, and uncertainty, and we practice with what is actually happening in our lives.
New to This
Beginner's SeriesAn 8-week series for people who are brand new to meditation or to the Waking Up app. We go through the Introductory Course together, one week at a time, with space to ask every question you have been holding back. No jargon, no pretending to understand things you do not understand yet.
City Dharma
Dharma in Daily Urban LifePractice for people who live in the real world. Not a retreat, not a monastery, not a quiet room with incense. This group is for anyone who meditates between meetings, on the subway, or in the ten minutes before the kids wake up. We use the Waking Up app as a foundation and then we talk about what happens when you try to bring awareness into a life that will not slow down for you.
Love and the Path
Relationships and Contemplative PracticeA group for exploring how contemplative practice intersects with intimate relationships. How do you stay present with the person you love when every part of you wants to react? What does it mean to see clearly in the middle of desire, frustration, or loneliness? We draw from the app's content on emotions, compassion, and self-knowledge, and we bring our actual relationship lives into the room.
Spreading the Dharma
Sharing Practice with OthersA practitioner cohort for people who want to share contemplative practice with others but are not sure how. Maybe you are a teacher, a coach, a manager, a parent, or someone who keeps having conversations where meditation comes up and you wish you had better language for what it actually is. This is a 6-week deep dive into how to communicate about practice without sounding like a bumper sticker.
